Where the law or the job needs a registration, such as Gas Safe for gas work, we look it up on the official register. If a check runs out, they come off the list until it's renewed.

Yes. By law, anyone working on gas appliances such as boilers and gas fires must be on the Gas Safe Register. Our green stamp only goes to engineers whose registration we've checked. What should I do in an emergency?
