Describe the job. What, where and when. About 2 minutes, on your phone.

  2. 2

Trades say they're interested. They see your area, never your name, number or street.

You choose. Read their profiles and reviews, then pick who may contact you, or no one.

Boiler broken or no hot water?

Our green stamp only goes to engineers whose Gas Safe registration we've checked; always check any engineer's Gas Safe ID card. Low boiler pressure and a frozen condensate pipe cause many winter breakdowns, and you can check both safely yourself.

Smell gas?

How we check trades

The green stamp only appears when we've seen the evidence ourselves. If a check runs out, the stamp comes off until it's renewed.

  • Insurance seen. Public liability certificate in date, expiry tracked.
  • Identity checked. Owner ID or Companies House record matched.
  • Qualifications verified. Gas Safe, NICEIC or NAPIT looked up where the law or the job needs it.
  • Genuine reviews only. One review per real job. We never buy, write or hide reviews.
