Where our information comes from
We gather decided planning applications from each council's public planning register. Our system checks every register we cover on a regular cycle, reads each decision as the council publishes it, filters out everything that isn't approved home building work, and sorts what's left by project type, likely size and the trades it needs, with a person checking the ones that need a second look. Applicants' names, documents and drawings are never collected.
